Mind Enterprises live and Ciao. Discoteca Italiana in Florence
Italo disco, analogue synthesizers, funk grooves and the great classics of Italian music meet again at the Lattexplus Festival, which on Saturday 12 September closes its ninth edition at the Cavea of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino with Mind Enterprises live and Ciao. Discoteca Italiana.
The evening is the third and final chapter of the open-air programme staged with the support of the Estate Fiorentina scheme run by the City of Florence. After the sold-out opening night with Nu Genea Live Band and the July date at the Anfiteatro delle Cascine with MACE, okgiorgio and Fenoaltea, Lattexplus returns to the Cavea for a night that looks at the Italian musical tradition through the languages of the present.

Taking the stage will be Mind Enterprises, one of the most original and exhilarating projects on the contemporary electronic scene. Born in 2012 as the solo project of Turin producer Andrea Tirone and later becoming a duo with the arrival of musician Roberto Conigliaro, Mind Enterprises rework Italo disco and the dance pop of the Eighties in a contemporary key, combining analogue synthesizers, funk grooves, disco bass lines and hypnotic rhythmic patterns.
The duo has won over an international audience partly thanks to a run of videos that went viral on social media, in which Tirone and Conigliaro perform among Mediterranean kitchens and terraces, wearing suits and vintage sportswear. An ironic, instantly recognisable imagery, built around a precise musical and visual research, which has helped drive the global rediscovery of Italo disco.

To the success of tracks such as Idol and Galaxy, and of The Clapping Song, remixed by Kungs, May 2026 added the new album Negroni Love. The record combines Seventies funk, Italo disco, Eurodance, retro melodies and Italian pop culture, setting up a short circuit between the world of the paninari, a national-popular spirit and a deeply analogue electronic production. A universe that has drawn the attention of the international press, too, and that finds its fullest expression live.
After their United States debut and an appearance at Coachella 2026, where they played the Sonora Tent, Mind Enterprises arrive in Florence with a high-energy live show, one that turns the look and the sounds of Eighties Italian dance into a contemporary experience: ironic, and physically hard to resist.

Joining them will be Ciao. Discoteca Italiana, a collective founded in Turin in 2017 that reworks the sound and visual heritage of the Italian culture industry, bringing memory, pop culture and the present into dialogue.
Their selection runs through the Seventies, Eighties and Nineties, putting great classics, disco-funk gems and Italo disco rarities back on the dancefloor. Not a simple nostalgia exercise, but a rereading of Italian song and popular culture made for the dance hall: a collective rite in which shared melodies, images and memories become living material of the present again.
With the 12 September date, Lattexplus Festival closes an edition that has brought electronic music, live performance and contemporary club culture to some of the most recognisable places in the city. A path that does not give up the dancefloor, but opens it to different audiences, turning it into a collective, shared cultural experience.
